Successful Symposium on Digitalisation of Research 2025!

👉 Our Symposium on Digitalisation of Research took place in December and was a huge success! With a great audience, amazing talks, interesting posters and insightful discussions the event turned very fruitful. We were delighted to see that the months-long preparations turned out so positively.

👀 DiTraRe Symposium presentations are available online. Check out our Zenodo community to find contributions and posters or find them on the Symposium website in the tab "Programme".

🔜 Proceedings of the Symposium will be published in the spring next year.

👏💐 We would like to thank all our wonderful speakers for their insightful talks, the poster presenters for their cool 1-minute-madness, and all the participants for making this event so successful!

😶‍🌫️ And behind the scenes... foundations are being laid for the next edition!

AI4SC bridge @ AAAI 2026 program and submissions now live!

🎊 AI4SC 2026 program is live now and so are the pdfs of accepted submissions!

👥 In an attempt to create a community, besides presentations we will devote time to discussion sessions. Our goal is to publish a report with a community perspective on the most important topic in AI for scholarly communication. Come to our bridge to be a part of it!

👉 Are you planning to attend the AAAI 2026 in Singapore? Make sure to join our AI4SC bridge on January 20! The DiTraRe coordinator, Anna Jacyszyn, together with Allard Oelen, TIB, are looking forward to welcoming you!

Open Science Conference wrap-up

Open Science Conference 2025: Shaping a Bright Future for Open Science and AI

This year’s Open Science Conference was dedicated entirely to Open Science and AI. Participants examined both the opportunities and the challenges at this intersection, exploring how to responsibly integrate AI into research processes and, conversely, how to build trustworthy AI on trustworthy data.

DiTraRe team added to the Conference by organising a discussion session "Streamlining Data Publication: Automatic Metadata and Large Datasets in the Age of AI".
